What you just watched are some of the key new features to to Mac os x. Some features that really get me pumped up are
1) Time Machine: Time machine is freaking awesome. it has never been that easy to back up and restore you computer (not i did not say you personal data i said you "computer" Time machine backs up you whole entire computer no matter what you want) I will never have to worry about deleting things that i'm not sure if i will ever need again because i no it will always be backed up!!! yay!!!
2) quick look and ichat: quick look by its self is not really that exciting to me. the ability to go through cover flow and look at documents and pdfs is cool, but i really do not see myself using that feature that much. But with Ichat this thing is amazing. the ability to show someone anything that works with quick look through a direct connection is absolutely amazing
3)New Finder: i think the new finder not only looks great, but will work great. it uses a very similar way of organizing things that itunes uses. the new finder is gonna be great and much easier to use.
Apple insiders all suggest that the new upgrade to mac os X, 10.5 Leopard will be released to the public sometime from October 22-27. Most likely
it will be released on October 26 since apple shows history of releasing their products on fridays. I don't know about you, but i am getting to the apple store 3 hours before hand and getting my hands on leopard as soon as i can. it is probably apples clever marketing that is geting me so hyped up...or it could be that the upgrade to mac os x is actually going to be freaking awesome. either way... what are you going to do? are you excited for Leopard? what do you like, what do you not like about leopard?Comment
